Embellish – The name is kind of deceiving… as the pattern is really a canvas for you to embellish if you so choose. The idea here is to have a perfectly beautiful stand alone piece of knitwear that gives an elegant framework for trying out some embellishing techniques. This short video is the compilation of inspiration that has been living in my head… designs don’t just fall from fingers and become pieces of published work. Oftentimes they are a collection of experience and infatuation that come together over time like setting Jell-o.

That’s where I find myself this spring… with this energy that is growing to make something different, and special and full of excitement. BUT 100% on your own terms. That’s the beauty of Knitting, and all of the knitters who work on patterns and make little changes that make them all their own.
