take off and landing

Lately I have had the urge to keep track of the things I am thinking of. The things that are leaving me uninspired, uncreative and unfocused.  I want to use that “Un” energy to understand what drives my creative process and put my mind to getting back on track.

Perhaps this feeling is because things have been changing rapidly for me. In May I sold The New River Fiber Co. the sister shop to my very first brick and mortar retail business, The Crooked Stitch.  I left The Crooked Stitch three years before to work as a Sales Rep, and now I have landed in a new home, in a new state, with lots of new feelings. Feelings that are both my own and my children’s.

This is my ultimate #julyisforfinishing project.  The one that will be continually undone.  Always allowing me to grow and change…

For more understanding, if you are just finding the journal, roving is for travel.  Creative is for all my making of things and life is where we are.  I promise to blend the three into something inspiring, insightful, and share all along the way.
